"Poseidon"'s  Awful Experience With EXPEDIA

  Dear sirs, I have booked the following Itinerary: XXXXXX with
price771.52 $  - 100$ coupon of total 661.52 $, then I received a
confirmation and my card was charged 771.52 $

So you can see below that it's a system fault.

Please advice.

The evidence here shows that EXPEDIA is trying to scam this customer 100 U$D. By charging this amount in excess by not honoring a discount coupon.

The Coupon scam works as follow:

1) The customers has a coupon for a discount (in this case 100 U$D) that tries to use by booking a vacation package through EXPEDIA. As one can see, the customer found a "deal" for 661,52 U$D)

 

  
   
     
  2) The customer try to use the coupon. According to this screen EXPEDIA should charge 661,52 U$D. At his piint everything is fine and the customer accept the transaction.

  
     
  3) Voila!!.  After completing the transaccion, EXPEDIA send a confirmation message charging the customer for 761,52 U$D.

Technical mistake? NO: EXPEDIA will find any excuse to not honor the coupon. (even if it seems right just prior to confirm the transaction).

Hi

The only explanation is that EXPEDIA is trying to scam you.
Contact your credit card company and dispute the charge with them.
EXPEDIA won't help. They will lie and they will do anything (e.g. blame
you ) to try to keep your money.
