subject Letters sent to Senators John Ensign, Ron Wyden and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
mailed-bygmail.com

Dear EXPEDIA customer service team and executives

The following letter has been sent to Senators John Ensign, Ron Wyden and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and it will available soon to the the public at my website: http://www.victimsofexpedia.com

Dear Senator

With all your respect
I found in the news ( http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/markets/industries/entertainment/update-orbitz-expedia-seek-congressional-help-fight-room-taxes/  ) that online travel sites (EXPEDIA and ORBITZ) are asking Congress to resolve in their favor a legal dispute with cities and counties over hotel occupancy taxes.

I kindly ask you to investigate these companies before the Congress take any decision that will negatively affect american citizens. I was a victim of EXPEDIA unethical and criminal business practice. They tried to scam me 1254,95 U$D back in 2005 while I was living in Texas (read my case that EXPEDIA cannot deny at: http://www.victimsofexpedia.com/EN/mycase.php  and hundreds more cases from people that feel they have been cheated by EXPEDIA at: http://www.expedianews.com .

If the congress resolves the tax litigation in favor of EXPEDIA, they will keep scamming people. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information. I’m currently living in Europe.

Sincerely Yours truly,
John Doe (of course, I used my real name)

Dear Mr. *******:

Thank you for contacting me with your thoughts regarding tax relief.

Hundreds of tax proposals are offered in the U.S. Senate each year, and the Congress is considering a number of proposals to simplify our tax system. I have supported past efforts to change the tax structure, including eliminating the marriage penalty and I'm open to new ideas that reduce the burden on taxpayers.

I will be sure to keep your ideas in mind as Congress debates measures aimed at putting the economy on the right track. Please don’t hesitate to contact me again.

Sincerely,
Senator Bill Nelson

Dear Mr. ******:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Internet Travel Tax Fairness Act. I appreciate the benefit of your comments.

As you may know, the Internet Travel Tax Fairness Act has not been introduced in either the House of Representatives or the Senate. As such, I have not been afforded the opportunity to review this legislation in any detail; however, I recognize the importance of providing equal opportunities for all taxpayers as well as the need to help small businesses expand their operations and grow jobs here at home.

I appreciate the opportunity to represent the interests of Texans in the United States Senate, and you may be certain that I will keep your thoughts in mind should the Internet Travel Tax Fairness Act or similar legislation be introduced and considered by the Senate during the 111th Congress. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.
Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN
