This is the horrible ONGOING story
of: Betsy
( as usual XXXX = data containing
personal information from Betsy, ZZZZZZ=personal (probably fake names form
EXPEDIA's representative)
More than 13 international phone calls....more than
400 minutes on
hold.... and I receive the great news that
Expedia has processed my refund
today - 3 months after I requested it - and that I will have the money
credited to my account in - hello?? - 30 to 60 days. At this point I
should just be glad that I'll have it within a year of when I purchased
the tickets.
NEVER USE EXPEDIA!!!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE GUARANTEES ARE AS
WORTHLESS AS THE TICKETS THAT THEY SOLD ME.

I am still awaiting the long promised refund for these tickets that
Expedia
sold me that
Air India would not honor. The tickets were purchased
last August for a flight in February, and I requested a refund in
January - 3 months ago! - when Air India told me they were not valid and
Expedia
could not resolve the situation. Will the $1600 be credited to my
bank account within the 90 days as promised? I have called a dozen
times and this has yet to be resolved. I do not understand what the
hold-up is when the error was through no fault of mine. Not only was our
long
planned vacation ruined, but my money seems to be held hostage as
well.
